• Appearance: Also called Spirit Quartz, Cactus Amethyst is a striking crystal formation where a parent point is surrounded by smaller terminations, giving the appearance of a sparkling “cactus” or cluster of crystals.

• Origin: Found almost exclusively in South Africa, particularly in the Magaliesberg Mountain region, making it a rare and distinctive variety of Quartz.

• Composition: Silicon Dioxide (SiO₂), Mohs hardness of 7, hexagonal crystal system.
